Get ready for FHIR North 2016! Following on the success of last year’s Connectathon, FHIR implementers will once again come together this April at Mohawk College in Hamilton, Ontario to develop and test innovative applications using the HL7® FHIR standards framework.
Participants will have a chance to:
- Speak with leading FHIR experts including some of the core development team
- Meet other implementers, swap ideas and see how other people are using FHIR to tackle their interoperability challenges
- Try building and integrating FHIR-enabled applications in real-world scenarios
- Attend education and training sessions delivered by experienced FHIR developers and experts
Interest in FHIR continues to build – and so does the hype – so it’s important for Canadian implementers to get together, try it out for themselves and see how FHIR could be used in their respective organizations. Participants of all skill levels and degrees of familiarity with FHIR are welcome and encouraged to attend – all you need is a laptop with a development environment and an interest in collaboration and learning.
Plan to be at FHIR North on Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at Mohawk College in Hamilton, Ontario. This is the day before the Apps for Health Conference, so be sure to arrive early and attend FHIR North as well. See you there!
